From the moment this model was released, it was loved, and Chevrolet decided that it was a model that should live on to see many decades. They wanted to ensure that there were enough spare parts on the market, regardless of the year, so they usually do a reproduction of parts to ensure their availability. The availability of parts and flawless handling make this car easy to maintain.

This model came into production in 1955 and continued for two years. There were some changes and improvements made within those two years, increasing production and therefore increasing the number of cars. Not every car sold within those two years, so there were still some spare parts available. According to hotcars.com, “the spare parts are available to the point where a whole new Chevy Bel Air can be assembled just from the spare parts still available.”
